MATERIALS WOVEN IN ITALY

CONSISTENTLY THE WORLD'S BEST COTTON

We use exclusive Supima cotton, which is grown largely in California’s San Joaquin Valley and represents only 1% of global cotton production. We are smitten with this extra premium cotton because it is exceedingly soft on the skin, but is twice as strong as regular cotton.  To bear the Supima® trademark, products must be sourced through a licensed supply chain.
Extraordinary Durability:Supima’s naturally longer fibres with lower twists are less prone to warping, breaking and tearing, so our cotton items will keep their form and typically look better for longer.

SILKY SOFTNESS: The elongated staple fibres of Supima lends this cotton increased softness because it produces smoother, cleaner yarns. This flexible cotton material also resists pilling and bobbling, and will get softer over time as the yarns are washed, meld and relax.

VIBRANT SHADES: Dyes are able to penetrate Supima’s finer and super-absorbent fibres more deeply. This absorption takes on and retains colours better than regular cotton varietals. Therefore our coloured cotton products and details are able to keep their brilliance and colour-retention wash after wash, making them more resistant to sun-bleaching and harsh weather.

LINEN

Linen has been valued for millennia as a fresh and natural material, which gives a feeling of lovely softness on the skin. Linen sheets are hypoallergenic, breathable and excellent at absorbing moisture. This makes them perfect all year round, being cool in summer and warm in winter, and capable of adapting beautifully to body temperature.

MICROMODAL

Micromodal is a wonderfully soft and durable fabric produced with naturally finer tree pulp fibres. Micro modal has similarities to silk and linen in terms of softness, breathability and texture, but requires much less maintenance. It is resistant to shrinking and pilling, so goods will last year after year.

SUSTAINABLE LUXURY: Micromodal is derived from the pulp of beech trees, which are self-seeding trees from the Northern Hemisphere – meaning the raw material could naturally renew itself. Modal-based fabrics also need only a tenth to a twentieth of the water in dyeing processes, compared to traditional fabrics. In terms of its environmental footprint at the end of the product cycle, pure micromodal material can be completely biodegradable.
